Transistor Virus (2014)

The materials used in this sculpture are transistors from 30 PC power supplies attached to an 50mm icosahedron printed on a 3D printer.

The sculpture is a representation of the norovirus. Norovirus is a very contagious virus that can infect anyone. This biological virus causes winter vomiting.

Here is a close up of one of the transistors. You can see it is made in the Philippines.
