Fan Guards (2012)

This sculpture utilizes 30 fan guards taken from PC Power Supplies. This sculpture forms a small rhombicosadodecahedron where the fans comprise the 30 squares, the 12 pentagons and 20 triangles appear as negative spaces. While each fan guard appears as a set of six concentric circles, the cross pieces form the four corners of a square. Around the pentagon space the cross pieces form a pentagram.
